Usually a mat is used to keep the photo from touching the glass as this prevents the photo from permanently sticking to the glass over time. For this project, spacers were used which are hidden in the frame but serve the same purpose of a mat. Glazing is conservation non-reflective glass which has some reflection but not as much as clear glass.
